These boards are intended for the Trio TS700 (g) and TS 700s respectively. The layout for the RPCB 700s has been changed to suit the reduced space and different mounting options in this transceiver, though the circuitry is identical with that of the RPCB 700. The modification will give you the extra sensitivity that is required, without the use of a preamp. This has the advantage that the intermodulation free dynamic range of the receiver is increased to 90 dB rather than being reduced by the preamplifier. The I.F. filter is also replaced with a 15kHz bw 8pole filter, increasing the selectivity of the receiver.
